Ingredients
1 c butter
2 c sugar
4 eggs
3 c flour
2 t baking powder
1/2 t salt
1 c milk
1 t vanilla
1 t lemon
Preparation
Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. add eggs one at a time and beat well. add flour mixture first, then small amount milk, alternating, ending with flour. Add flavoring
Pour into 3 layer pans, greased and floured, and bake 15 to 20 min or until brown at 375
