Ingredients

Bring beans, ham, n 8 cups water to boil.over med high heat, reduce heat to med low and cook u til beans are tender. About 1 hour.

Preparation

Transfer to pot with beans reduce heat n keep warm. Remove ham , let cool, remove meat,discuss bone. Finely chop meat and add back to soup. Lightly mash some of the beam Ns to make soup cloudy and thicker. Season s n p. serves 6-8
