Ingredients
4 oz fat-free cream cheese
12 oz uncooked whole-wheat pasta
1 cup fat-free cottage cheese
3 oz part-skim mozzarella cheese
1 tsp sugar
1/4 cup red wine
10 oz 95% lean/5% fat raw ground beef
1/2 cup fat-free sour cream
26 oz jar pasta sauce
Preparation
- Brown ground beef. Add pasta sauce, wine and sugar. Cook on low.
- Boil pasta per box directions.
- Combine cream cheese, cottage cheese and sour cream in a small bowl.
- Combine pasta and meat sauce in a medium bowl.
- In a 9x13 pan, layer 1/2 of pasta and sauce, all of cheese mixture, then top with the remaining pasta and meat. Sprinkle mozzarella over the whole dish.
- Bake at 350 F for 30 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
