Ingredients

1 2/3 Cups Sugar

2 T. Butter

½ Tsp. Salt

2/3 Cup (1 small can) Undiluted Carnation Evaporated Milk

1 ½ Cup Semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 ½ Diced Marshmallows (about 16 medium)

½ Cup Chopped Nuts

1 Tsp. Vanilla

Preparation

  1. Combine sugar, butter, salt and undiluted Carnation in saucepan over medium heat. Cook 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat.

  2. Add chocolate, marshmallows and nuts to Carnation-sugar mixture. Stir in vanilla; beat vigorously 1 minute or until marshmallows and chocolate melt.

  3. Pour fudge into buttered 8" square pan. Top with additional nuts, if desired. Cool until firm; cut in squares. Serve as dessert, for parties and gifts.
