Ingredients

1 1/2 Tbl. grated ginger

1 lemon

1 cup sugar

1/4 tsp. yeast

Preparation

  1. Juice the lemon and set liquid aside.

  2. Using a funnel, pour sugar and yeast into a clean 2-liter plastic bottle or growler jug.

  3. Fill bottle 1/3 full with water. Shake well so yeast is fully dissolved.

  4. Pour ginger and lemon juice into bottle. Shake well.

  5. Fill bottle all but 1 inch full of water.

  6. Set bottle aside in warm area for 2-4 days, or until bottle is very firm. Refrigerate. Enjoy.
