Ingredients

3 lbs. shrimp (small frozen ones)

2 1 quart jars

1-2 white onions (depending on size)

1 cup oil

2 cups wine vinegar

6 Tbsp of Johnny’s Seasoning Salt

Preparation

Boil shrimp until pink. Drain and cool with cold water. Slice onion(s) and break apart. Layer onions and shrimp, starting with onions, in each jar, covering each layer well with next layer. Top layer should be onions. In separate bowl, mix 1 cup oil and 2 cups wine vinegar and 6 level tblsps of Johnny’s Seasoning Salt. Mix well. Pour equal amounts into each jar. Close each jar and shake well. Shake each jar once every hour until party time. DO NOT REFRIGERATE. It thickens too much. Prepare 4 to 5 hours prior to party.
