Ingredients
1-½ cup Flour
½ cups Cornmeal
1 Tablespoon Baking Powder
½ teaspoons Salt
⅔ cups Sugar
1-¼ cup Milk
2 whole Eggs
3 Tablespoons Oil
½ cups Butter, Melted
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Combine all of the dry ingredients (including sugar) in a large bowl. Combine liquids in a separate bowl. Add liquids to dry ingredients and mix until just blended. Do not over-mix. Pour into a greased square 8″ or 9″ pan. Bake for 30-35 minutes until top is golden and a toothpick inserted comes out clean. (In little acorn pans, bake for 15 mns. Use smallest scoop.)
