Ingredients
8 - 10 ounces shredded sharp cheddar cheese
2¼ cups flour
2 sticks (8 ounces) butter, softened
1 cup chopped pecans (medium to fine chop)
1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
½ teaspoon salt
½ - ¾ teaspoon cayenne pepper
Preparation
Preheat oven to 425°. Mix all ingredients together well until stiff, cohesive dough forms (this is easiest to do with your hands). Roll into ¾ - 1 inch balls. Bake on an ungreased or lightly greased cookie sheet for 12-15 minutes for small biscuits or 15- 18 minutes for larger ones. Watch carefully so that the bottoms don’t burn.
