Ingredients
1 cup coconut oil
5 oz bittersweet (at least 70%) baking chocolate
1 cup pure maple syrup
1/4 cup coca powder, sifted
4 eggs
1 tsp salt
2 tsp vanilla extract
12 oz almond butter, raw, crunchy and unsalted
1/4 cup coconut flour
Preparation
Combine coconut oil, chocolate, and syrup and melt in microwave
Sift in coca powder, stir to evenly combine. Then allow to cool completly and set aside.
Prehead oven to 350.
Blend eggs, salt, baking soda and vanilla in a med. size bowl.
Once smoothly blended, add almond butter and continue to blend.
Slowly add melted chocolate, continue to blend.
Add in coconut flour and blend until mixture is evenly combined.
Pour batter into greased 13 x 9 glass baking dish.
Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
Do not over bake, they will get crumbly. These are very cakelike.
Place in fridge to cool, makes it easier to cut.
