Ingredients
2 C very fresh, raw, slivered almonds
6 cups filtered water
Preparation
- Soak the almonds overnight in a small amount of filtered water.
- Drain off the water.
- Blend with a small amount of fresh filtered water at high speed until they reach a smooth consistency.
- Add water to reach desired taste and thickness.
- Strain the milk through a fine strainer.
- Add sweetener only if needed.
