Ingredients

1/2 cup (1 stick) margarine

1 cup flour

2 teaspoons baking powder

1/4 cup sugar

1/2 cup milk

1 cup hot water

3/4 cup sugar

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

3 cups rhubarb, cut in 1/4" pieces

Preparation

Melt margarine in 8" or 9" pan.Make batter of flour, 1/4 sugar, baking powder and milk.Spoon over melted margarine. Spoon rhubarb over batter. Stir 3/4 cup sugar into hot water until dissolved. Pour over rhubarb and sprinkle with cinnamon. Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
