Ingredients

3 eggs

1 cup oil (or you can use ½ cup oil and ½ cup applesauce)

½ cup milk

1 cup sugar

2 tsp. Cinnamon

½ tsp. Vanilla

1½ tsp. Baking powder

½ tsp. Baking soda

½ salt

2 cups all purpose flour

1 LARGE box INSTANT vanilla pudding

Preparation

DAY 1 Do nothing (this is the day your received the batter or the first date on bag) DAY 2 MUSH the bag DAY 3 MUSH the bag DAY 4 MUSH the bag DAY 5 MUSH the bag DAY 6 Add to the bag 1 cup of all-purpose flour, 1 cup sugar, 1 cup milk. Close, MUSH the bag DAY 7 MUSH the bag DAY 8 MUSH the bag DAY 9 MUSH the bag DAY 10 Follow these instructions:

  1. Pour entire contents of bag into a NON METAL bowl
  2. ADD 1½ cups all purpose flour, 1½ cups sugar, 1½ cups milk
  3. Measure out 4 separate batters of 1 cup each and place into 4 one-gallon Ziploc bags. These are called starters. *** Keep a starter for yourself and give the other 3 to friends along with a copy of the recipe. DATE your starter with the first date so if they are not passed along on day one, then they’ll know what day they are on.
  4. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees.
  5. To the remaining batter (won’t be a lot), ADD: 3 eggs 1 cup oil (or you can use ½ cup oil and ½ cup applesauce) ½ cup milk 1 cup sugar 2 tsp. Cinnamon ½ tsp. Vanilla 1½ tsp. Baking powder ½ tsp. Baking soda ½ salt 2 cups all purpose flour 1 LARGE box INSTANT vanilla pudding

Grease 2 large loaf pans and mix additional ½ cup sugar and 1½ tsp. cinnamon in separate bowl. Dust the greased pans with half the mixture. Pour the batter evenly into the pans and sprinkle the remaining sugar/cinnamon mixture on top. BAKE 1 hour (may be longer - toothpick test). Cool until bread loosens from pan (10 minutes).
