Ingredients

1/2 pound butter at room temp

3 cups sugar

6 eggs, separated

3 cups sifted plain flour

1/4 teaspoon baking soda

8 oz sour cream

1 tsp vanilla

Preparation

Cream butter and sugar; add egg yolks one at a time, beating after each addition. Sift flour with baking soda and add to butter mixture. Add sour cream and vanilla. Blend until smooth. Fold in softly beaten egg whites. Pour into a greased tube or bundt pan and bake at 300 degrees for 90 minutes.
