Ingredients
1 pound Angel Hair or Capellini pasta, uncooked
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 tablespoon minced garlic
5 cups tomatoes, diced
1/2 teaspoon basil
1/4 cup olive oil
4 garlic cloves, pressed
1/4 cup chopped Italian parsley
2 cans chopped or minced clams - (6 1/2 oz ea), with juice
1 bottle clam juice - (8 oz)
5 tablespoons Parmesan cheese
Salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste
Preparation
Prepare pasta according to package directions; drain. Pour olive oil into a skillet. Lightly saute garlic. Add parsley, basil, tomatoesc and chopped or minced clams, juice from clams and bottled clam juice to skillet. Cook for 3 minutes. Add hot pasta to skillet; toss well. Toss with Parmesan cheese and serve immediately.
