Ingredients

1 (16 ounce) bag of frozen berries of your choice OR 4 cups of fresh berries of your choice

1/4 teaspoon of salt, to taste

1/4 teaspoon of pepper, to taste

2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar

1 cup flour

1 cup rolled oats

1/4 cup brown sugar

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 cup butter

1/2 cup chopped walnuts or almonds

Preparation

  1. In a glass baking dish or deep pie dish, add fruit and sprinkle with salt, pepper, and balsamic vinegar (This is a secret ingredient and will make the flavor of your fruit pop!)
  2. In a separate bowl combine flour, rolled oats, brown sugar, salt, butter. Mix with fork until it forms a crumble consistency.
  3. Sprinkle nuts over top of fruit.
  4. Dot with butter.
  5. Bake at 375 for 20-25 minutes until crumble starts to lightly brown and crisp. May be served warm or cold.
  6. Add whipped cream or ice cream for a special yum!
