Ingredients
Crust:
1/2 cup butter
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
1/3 cup sugar
1 cup flour
Filling:
8 oz cream cheese
1 egg
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Topping:
1/3 cup sugar
4 cups apples, thinly sliced
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 cup almonds, slivered
Preparation
Crust: Combine ingredients and spread into a 9-inch spring form pan.
Filling: Blend ingredients together and pour onto crust.
Topping: Combine sugar, apples and cinnamon in a bowl, stirring to coat apples. Spoon apple mixture over filling. Top with almonds.
Serve chilled. Can be frozen (defrost 3-4 hours).
