Ingredients

• 10 Granny Smith apples

• 3 T. fresh lemon juice

• 2 c. flour

• 2 c. sugar

• 1 t. salt

• 1 c. unsalted butter (cold-cut up)

• 3 t. ground cinnamon

Preparation

• Slice, peel, and pare apples. • Place sliced apples in large bowl, mix with lemon juice. Let sit. • Mix flour, sugar, salt, butter, and cinnamon in food processer, or blender using pulse speed until mixture resembles coarse meal. • Mix small amount into apples. • Pour apples into 9x13 pan. • Cover with remaining crumb mixture, making sure edges are sealed. • Bake 350 until top is golden, edges may bubble, and apples are tender (try about 30 minutes). • Can be served warm
