Ingredients

10 C. thinly sliced apples (6-7 Honey Crisp or Granny Smith apples)

Mix together:

1/2 C. sugar

1/4 C. brown sugar

1 T. flour

1 tsp. ground cinnamon

1/2 C. quick cooking oats

1/4 C. water or apple juice

Crump topping:

1/4 C. flour

1/2 C. brown sugar

1/4 tsp. baking soda

1/4 tsp. baking powder

1/2 C. butter, melted

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place the sliced apples in a 9 x 13" pan. Mix sugars, 1 T. flour with added spices, and Oats together. Sprinkle over apples. Pour water evenly over all. Combine the topping ingredients: oats, 1/4 C. flour, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and melted butter together. Stir and crumble evenly over the apple mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for about 45-60 min. If desired: Top with Whipped cream Pour over Caramel topping
