Ingredients
4 medium cooking apples, pared, cored, and thinly sliced
1/2 C dark corn syrup
1/4 C hot water
1/4 C butter
3/4 C quick oats
1/2 C firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 C unsifted flour
1/2 t salt
1/4 C chopped pecans
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 8x8x2-inch baking pan. Mix corn syrup and hot water, pour over apples. Mix together butter, oats, brown sugar, flour and salt until crumbs form. Stir in pecans. Sprinkle mixture evenly over apples. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 45 minutes.
