Ingredients
2- 21oz. cans Comstock Apple Pie Apples (or similar)
1- 18.25oz. Package Yellow Cake Mix
1 Cup Butter
Preparation
In a 13"x9" Baking Pan (at least 3" deep) spread apples from both cans evenly across the bottom, covering all surfaces.
Open cake mix. Sprinkle entire bag of cake mix over surface of apples. (Surface will be uneven, this is okay! Just be sure all surfaces are covered.)
Melt butter in a container that lends itself well to pouring. Drizzle butter over cake mix, attempting to cover all surfaces. “Swish” pan a little as necessary to cover.
Preheat oven and bake at 350 degrees for 8 minutes (until light golden), broil on high for an additional 2-5 minutes, checking frequently, until golden brown. Cool 5-10 minutes before serving.
