Ingredients

8 ou. can refrigerated crescent rolls

2 large Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored, quartered

6 T margarine or butter

1/2 c. + 1 T sugar, divided

1/2 c. water

1/4 t. cinnamon

Breyers vanilla ice cream

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 and butter or spray a 7x11" dish.

Wrap each triangle around an apple quarter and press to seal seams. Place in dish.

On stove, combine margarine, 1/2 c. sugar and water. Cook over medium heat until sugar dissolves. Pour over the dumplings, then sprinkle on the cinnamon and 1 T sugar.

Bake 30 min. or until light brown. Let it sit a few minutes. Serve, spooning some syrup from the dish on top, and adding vanilla ice cream alongside.
