Ingredients
2 Tb butter
1/3 c water
½ c apple cider
¼ tsp cinnamon
¾ lb carrots cut into 1/3" pieces
2 cups peeled, chopped apples
honey
Preparation
Melt butter in large skillet over low heat until turns light brown; Remove pan from heat and let butter cool a little; Add water, apple cider, and cinnamon to butter Return to stove over med heat and bring to boil; Reduce heat and simmer 2 min; Add carrots, cover and cook on med, stirring frequently, for 10 min Add more water, if necessary Add apples, drizzle with honey, cook 5 - 7 min until apples and carrots are tender
