Ingredients

5 tbsp sugar divided

1 tsp. cinnamon

2 sliced apples

2 tbsp butter

3 tbsp flour

1/2 tsp baking powder

2 egg yolks

2 egg whites

3 tbsp milk

Preparation

In skillet, melt 2 tbsp sugar with 1 tsp cinnamon in 2 tbsp butter. Add apples and cook until softened. In small bowl mix 3 tbsp flour, baking powder, egg yolks and milk. Beat egg whites with 3 tbsp sugar until still. Fold into other ingredients. Pour over apples. Bake at 400 for 10 minutes. Good served with sour cream with a bit of sugar and vanilla added.
