Ingredients
3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
1 apple, cut up
1 15-ounce can pears in pear juice, with liquid
Preparation
Blend all ingredients together until smooth. (You can use fresh pears instead of canned, but add a little water to compensate for the lack of liquid from the canned pears) Pour blended ingredients into a small saucepan and warm it on low heat for a few minutes. Goes great with a spinach and walnut salad with some chopped apples. Also can work well poured over some lightly steamed greens like kale.
