Ingredients

6 tart, crisp apples or 1 can sliced apples

Mix

3/4 c sugar

3 T flour

1/4 t salt

1/2 t cinnamon

1/4 t allspice

1/8 t nutmeg

2 T butter cut in thin slices

Preparation

Peel apples and slice. Heap up apples in a raw pie crust. Mix dry ingredients and sprinkle over apples making sure to cover the edges. Cut butter into thin slices and dot it all over the apples. Cover with thin raw crust, pressing both edges together. Sprinkle sugar over top and close to edge. place butter on top

Bake at 425 until light brown - 40-45 minutes
