Ingredients
6 cups apple slices (HEAPING)
3/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup flour
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
dash of salt
1 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
Core, peel and slice apples. Mix apples with sugar, flour, nutmeg, cinnamon and salt. Pour into prepared 9" pie crust. Dot with butter. Cover with 2nd pie crust and seal edges. Slit top crust to vent.
Bake 425°F; 40-50 minutes.
