Ingredients

6 Tart Apples

3/4 to 1 cup sugar

1/4 tsp salt

2 tbs butter

crust for 2 crust pie

1 tsp cinnamon

2 to 3 tbs water

Preparation

Peel, core and slice apples. Mix sugar, cinnamon and salt; sprinkle over apples, toss lightly. Put sugar coated apples in 9 inch pie pan; sprinkle with water, dot w/ butter. Cover with a top crust; crimp edges to 2 crusts together. Bake at 350 for 45 min, or until apples are tender.
