Ingredients
1 recipe for double-crust pie
8 apples (Granny Smith…peeled, cored, & sliced very thin)
1 1/4 cup sugar
2 Tbsp Flour
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
Preparation
- Prepare pie crust
- Mix apples with sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, & flour
- Toss until coated
- Place apples in crusted pan & top with 2nd crust
- Crimp edges and make slits
- Bake at 375F in lower part of oven for 1 hour
