Ingredients
Dough -
3 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp salt
1 1/2 c. Crisco
3/4 c. water
2 egg yolks
Filling -
1/2 tsp salt
4-5 tbsp. flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
8 c. applies
Frosting -
2 c. confectioners sugar
2 to 5 tbsp water
Preparation
Dough - Cut Crisco into dry ingredients. Beat yolks and water and add to dry ingredients. Form into a ball and roll out to fit a 10x15 pan. Line a 10x15 with 1/2 of dough
Filling - Mix sugar, salt, cinnamon and flour. Add apples. Pour over crust. Cover with second crust
Frosting - combine conf. sugar and 2-5 tbsp water to get a pourable consistency but not too runny. Drizzle over slices
