Ingredients

1 medium apple, peeled cored and chopped

1.5-2lbs boneless country style pork ribs

2tbs plus 1 tsp cumin

1/4 cup dry white wine

1 C. apple juice

Salt

Pepper

1 tbsp Olive oil

1 can French Green Beans

Preparation

Heat oil in pan. Mix cumin with salt and pepper and coat the ribs. sear on all sides till brown. Deglaze the pan with the wine. Add chopped apple and apple juice. Cover and cook for 10 min. Remove lid and set aside ribs and apple pieces leaving liquid in pan. Add beans to the pan and simmer for 4-5 min. The liquid will reduce to a sauce that can be used over the ribs and gives a wonderful flavor to the beans.
