Ingredients
Cut 2 packages of dried California apricots into small pieces with kitchen shears. Cook in medium sauce pan with a small amount of water for 10 minutes. Drain excess water and set aside to cool.
Mix:
1 c butter
2 c flour
1/2 c sugar
Press into jelly roll pan and bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
Beat 4 eggs. Mix in:
2 c brown sugar
1 t vanilla
2/3 c flour
1 t baking powder
1/2 t salt
1 c chopped pecans
apricots
Pour over previously baked crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes. Cut into small bars. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
