Ingredients
1 1/2 c sifted flour
2 tsp soda
1 tsp salt
1 c cornmeal
1 c Graham cracker crumbs
2 eggs
1/2 c oil
1 c molasses
2 c milk
1 c raisins
Preparation
Before you begin, cover the raisins with boiling water. Drain and use.
Sift flour, baking soda, and salt. Add corn meal and Graham crackers crumbs. Then add raisins.
Beat eggs, oil, molasses, and milk. Add to dry ingredients.
Bake 1 hour in two 1 lb. coffee cans. I prefer steam the bread in boilng water on top of the stove.Cover the cans with tinfoil.
