Ingredients

1 cup butter

softened

2 3/4 cups sugar

1 Tbsp vanilla

6 eggs

3 cups flour

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp baking soda

1 cup sour cream

Preparation

Pre heat oven to 325 degrees. Grease 10 inch tube pan. Beat butter until creamygradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla. Add eggs one at a time beating 1 minute after each egg.Combine flour, salt, baking soda in a small bowl. Add to butter mixture alternately with sour cream beginning and ending with the flour mixture. Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes or until wooden pick inserted into the center comes out clean. Cool in pan 15 minutes. Remove from pan to wire rack to cool completely. Dust with powdered sugar and enjoy.
