Ingredients

2 sticks unsalted butter, softened

1 1/2 cups powdered sugar

1/2 cup cornstarch

1/2 tsp vanilla

1 1/2 cups all purpose flour

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven 350. Line large baking sheet with parchment paper. In food processor pulse butter, 1/2 cup powdered sugar until smooth. Add cornstarch, vanilla and 1 1/2 cups flour to processor. Pulse till soft dough forms and divide into 4 equal pieces
  2. On lightly floured surface roll each piece of dough into 12 inch rope, cut each rope into 12 pieces. Roll each piece into a ball place on baking sheet. Bake 22 min until bottoms of cookies are golden but tops are pale
  3. Immediatly toss in remaining powdered sugar
