Ingredients:

4 slices bacon, chopped

1 large onion, chopped

1 t. (or to taste) hot sauce

1 t. sugar

1/2 t. red wine vinegar

Preparation

Cook bacon in large non-stick skillet over medium high heat until almost crisp. Pour out half the drippings. add onions to remaining drippings and cook stirring, til onions brown @ 10 minutes. (add a spalsh of water if onions start to stick). Stir in hot sauce, sugar, vinegar; add s&P to taste.Stir til combined. Food Network Magazine Oct. 2012
