Ingredients
White thin-sliced sandwich bread
Bacon
Cheese spread
Toothpicks
Preparation
Cheese must be at room temperature. Remove crusts from bread and cut each slice in half. Spread each slice LIGHTLY with cheese. Roll up. Wrap 1/2 slice bacon around each roll and fasten with a toothpick. Place on broiler rack over broiler pan. Bake in 300 degree oven for about 45 minutes to 1 hour. Serve hot.
These make delicious hot hors d’oeuvres. One jar of cheese spread makes about 1 1/2 loaves bread.
