Ingredients
4 apples
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
1/8 tsp salt
zest of 1 lemon
Preparation
- Heat oven to 350
- peel the top 1/3 of the apple and core the apples and place on baking dish
- add sugar, water, lemon zest and salt to a sauce pan and bring to a boil.
- remove from heat when warm.
- pour the syrup into the apples
- cover and bake for 30 minutes
