Ingredients
5 cups beans
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup molasses
salt and pepper
1 tsp. dry mustard
Pieces of pork (salt pork is optional)
Preparation
Wash beans well and soak overnight. Drain in the morning. Boil in enough water to cover until skins fall off when blown on. Strain and prepare with above ingredients. Bake until dark brown. I add water and continue to do so during baking period. Cover, bake at 350.
