Ingredients
1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
3 cloves garlic, crushed
1 large onion, finely chopped
1/3 cup finely chopped cilantro
2 tbsp flour
1 tsp olive oil
1 tsp ground coriander seeds
1 tsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
Preparation
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
In a blender, grind the chickpeas. Add the garlic, onion, cilantro, olive oil, flour, coriander, cumin, salt and baking powder. Blend until smooth.
Using a small ice cream scoop, place onto an oiled baking pan and slightly flatten.
Bake for 15 minutes on each side, until nicely browned (since it’s baked, only the part actually touching the pan will be browned and crispy).
