Ingredients

1 1/2 lb fontina, rind removed and cubed into 1" pieces

6 cloves garlic, thinely sliced

1 T thyme, chopped

1 t rosemary, chopped

3 T oil

1/2 t kosher salt

1/2 t pepper

Preparation

Adjust top rack so it sits 5" under broiler. Preheat broiler. Spread cheese on bottom of 12" cast iron pan. Drizzle oil over the cheeswe. Mix garlic and herbs. Sprinkle over the cheese. Sprinkle with s and p. Bake 6 minutes til melted and bubbly ,remove pan.
