Ingredients

5 - 5 ounce boneless skinless chicken breast halves

• 1/8 teaspoon kosher salt

• 1/8 teaspoon pepper

• 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

• 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme

• 1 1/4 cups thinly sliced onions

• 2 tablespoon lemon juice

• 1/2 lemon

Preparation

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

Combine salt, pepper, garlic, and thyme. Lay chicken pieces into a 11" x 13" baking pan. Sprinkle seasonings over chicken.

Combine onions, stock, and lemon juice in a sauce pan. Heat to a boil. Pour hot lemon mixture around chicken.

Slice lemon into thin circular slices. Top chicken piece with a lemon slice.

Bake for 35 minutes at 400 F, until golden brown and juices are clear colored.
